Virginia offers cabins with access to the beautiful surroundings on lakes,
near forests and in the mountains.
The state has a growing reputation as a mecca for sports enthusiasts. Whitewater rafting on the New River and Gauley River, rockclimbing in the New River Gorge, and mountain biking in the Seneca Rocks area are just a few of the attractions of West Virginia.
Cabin rental is available in many of the small towns in the state, especially in the New River Gorge area to the south and east of Charleston, in the south of the state, and in the Monongahela National Forest.
The resorts of Snowshoe and Winterplace offer downhill skiing in the winter months and ski cabins for those areas and for cross-country skiing are also on offer.
